Ordering liquor online for delivery has never been this easy!

You can order by using the GIMME - Delivering local app, available on iOS and Android or by clicking ORDER NOW on our website.

Simply select the LIQUOR category then browse from a variety of liquor stores and breweries available in your area, choose your store and place your order.

Once the partnered store accepts your order, they’ll prepare your order for a GIMME Gopher to pick up for delivery. Sit back, relax and track you Gopher bringing your order to your door.

We take delivering alcohol seriously and our GIMME Gophers are required to comply with the law. Please note that liquor orders cannot be left unattended at an address they must be delivered in person and identification must be verified at the point of delivery.

You are responsible for observing local laws around where you can consume or possess alcohol. We encourage the consumption of alcohol to be in moderation and within a safe and responsible environment.

How Liquor

Valid government-issued photo ID only will be accepted:

  • Any current passport
  • A current New Zealand driver licence
  • A Hospitality NZ 18+ Card
  • A vaild Kiwi Access Card

Your Gopher cannot complete the delivery if:

  • The recipient is not present (alcohol orders cannot be left unattended at a given delivery location).
  • Valid proof of age cannot be provided
  • The recipient of the Products is under 18 years of age or that we believe (at our discretion) the alcohol is intended for a minor.
  • The recipient is believed to be intoxicated (at our discretion).

How is the alcohol delivered to me?

One of our speedy Gopher’s will collect your order and deliver your drinks to your door. Don’t worry, we’ll make sure your cold drinks arrive cold. Your order doesn’t sit on the passenger seat, we keep it cold in our double insulated temperature control bags provided to our delivery drivers - or as we like to call them; the GIMME Gophers!

What happens if I am ineligible to receive alcohol at the time of my delivery?

If the alcohol cannot be delivered to the recipient for any of the above reasons, your GIMME Gopher will return the alcohol to the partnered store. You will be refunded for the alcohol purchased, the delivery fee charged at the time of purchase will not be refunded and you will be charged a return fee.
